Crispy Garlic Pita Toasts

Pita toasts

Whenever I end up with more pita bread than I need, these crispy pita toasts are my absolute saviours. They are easy to make and perfect for a quick snack for kids and adults alike. All you need to do is cut them into quarters and add your favourite toppings before you bake them crisp. Pick your favourite dip and binge watch your favourite series. Sounds fun to me!

Why I love this Bread?

I love it because it is easy and quick which are essentials for a lazy me. They use up the leftover pita breads which is reason enough if you ask me. You can easily customise them to individual requirements. I love cheese with bread and so I usually top this up with some cheese. But you can avoid it if you want and use other spice mixes or toppings of your choice.

Options & Variations

You can either use store bought pita bread or home made pita bread. I have tried it with both and it is delicious either way. If you need an awesome pita bread recipe, you can use this one. You can make it either in an oven or on stovetop.

I have used simple flavours of garlic and cheese. You can use any other flavour as per your tastes. You can even mix the spices with the olive oil and brush it on the pita bread before baking. I like my toasts very crisp. So I bake for around 9-10 minutes. If you do not prefer that, you can bake for around 8 minutes to get a nice toast that is not too crispy.

Chips are a nice way to use up left over pita bread and these chips are very addictive and vanish in no time. More over these have a few days of shelf life. Nice recipe.
