I love mint. Just saying it if it is not evident already. So I keep adding it to whatever dish I can and I am mostly pleased with the results. Cucumber is another best friend for summers. We have it in multiple ways like raita, salad, etc. But I always find my daughter eating less of it than she should. So the solution is always juice. It is infinitely easier to make her drink a glass of fruit or vegetable than make her eat it.
I usually make this Bottle gourd Cucumber juice which is refreshing and a good detox. But since I had already posted that one and I was lazy to cut up two vegetables, we have the cucumber juice with my good friend, fresh mint.
Makes 2 Glasses
WHAT WE NEED
1 large cucumber
1 sprig of fresh mint
WHAT TO DO
- Peel and chop the cucumber
- Tear the fresh mint into small pieces
- Add cucumber and mint to a blender jar
- Add some water and salt and blend well
- Serve immediately
